Inspirational Quotes for the week

Inspirational quotes are good for the soul

inspirational quotes

It time to begin or end your day. Need an uplifting word? I think that it is very good for the soul to live, laugh, and love. We all need to take time out for ourselves and find our inner peace. Motivating the mind is like food to the soul. We all need some type of food for thought. Inspirational quotes are some of the best things to read. Inspirational video pick of the week

 Here some inspirational quotes

  • “Great minds discuss ideas. Average minds discuss events. Small minds discuss people.” - Eleanor Roosevelt
  •  “The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched, they must be felt with the heart" - Helen Keller Read (this is one of my favorite inspirational quotes)
  •  “Believe you can and you're halfway there” - Theodore Roosevelt
  •  “It is never too late to be what you might have been.” - George Eliot “That which doesn't kill us makes us stronger.” - Friedrich Nietzsche
  •  “Nothing is impossible, the word itself says 'I'm possible' ” - Audrey Hepburn Read
  • We Are Never Defeated Unless We Give Up
  • “Sometimes crying or laughing are the only options left, and laughing feels better right now.”  –Veronica Roth
  •  We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, therefore, is not an act but a habit. - Aristotle
  •  “ I've missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I’ve been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.” - Michael Jordan
  •  I know for sure that what we dwell on is who we become. - Oprah Winfrey
  •  You must be the change you want to see in the world. - Mahatma Gandhi

Why I like inspirational quotes

Good words are like food to my soul.I enjoy inspirational quotes because they give me a peace of mind. No matter how I feel an inspirational quote can uplift me. They help me give myself an attitude tune-up. They make me smile, make me think over, beyond, and outside the box. I think that we all need some encouraging words and should receive them DAILY! What we think and put in our minds is what comes out. A wise man once showed me a demonstration of a bottle with water in it. He shook the bottle and the water began to spill out and he asked why did the water come out? I said because the top wasn't tight. He then replied the water spilled out because that what's in bottle. What you put in something is what will spill out.

What Does Money Mean

The Value of Money

If I was to ask the question, why is money so important? Most people would say it is to guarantee a better life...Ok. Maybe they would be right. So, how does money give you a better life? Lets imagine for a second, that you have money. I mean enough money to afford anything you want. What would you do? You would most likely get the essential things first, that is a house with all the necessary furniture and equipment, a car, and start a savings account for future comfort or kids education. So far, that sounds good...Right? Now, let us go even further...After you bought yourself all the essential things for you and your family and put aside enough money for your kids future school tuition...Let say you still have a lot of money. What will you do?

What would you do with money

Some people would invest it to make more, some people who give it to charity, and some would just throw it away on non-sense. When you have money you have power over you life, your future and it can make you free in may ways! I think of having money as an opportunity for my kids and my grand-kids success in life. Money is very important and can change lives for better or in some cases worse!

Money can help you make the decision to start business

Starting your own business can be a good way to become Financially free. When you do this you can begin to write your own checks! Set your own pace and be able to provide for your family and future! That is what we all want to do right? Be successfully and have a lot of money and free time! If you look at things outside the box we are surrounded by business! Someone just like you and I wanted to make money! They became a Entrepreneur and went into business (etc Walgreens, Walmart, and McDonalds) for themselves and make a lot of of money! They found away and accomplished their dream. So the end result is really on individual basis. Either you want to be successful and make money or you just want to get by. In other words be the seller who makes money or the buyer who loses money!

Money

Money I guess in the end it all boils down to as long as you can sleep at night and wake up happy in the morning! Otherwise, it is time you realize that money should never be the end product to your life, but and advancement to your future. Make money, as much as you can, without crushing anyone on your way. If you find yourself with enough money to cover all the basics for you and your family needs, please open your hand and help someone in need whether its advise or funds. I was once told you must give in order to receive. Our purpose on this earth is to better ourselves and the humanity, if not for our own sake, let's do it for our children. Money is a way to better your life and the life of others, not a destination or purpose for your life!

How to Create a Blog to Make Money Online

Blog can be used to make money

While browsing online there are hundreds of offers that promise to earn the viewer thousands of dollars each month, with little to no work. Wading through the offers, there are often strings attached and fees required for the customer to even gain access to the information that can help to increase the income. Blogging is free and there are serveral blogging platforms to use such as WordPress, Blogger, and Simplesite. Creating a blog can help to make money online. Creating a web space that has unique content and offers visitors to the website useful information can help to gain readers, increasing the potential income from the blog. Once the content has been developed for the blog, the owner can begin the process of monetizing the blog  finding ways that money can be earned from the blog. Promoting your business and selling advertising space that is pertinent to the readers of the website, using pay per click advertising programs and placing links throughout the website for affiliate sales can help the owner of the website to create an income.

Using keywords can help you make money

Using the combination of these money making methods, it can be simple to earn income from the blog – granted, this income is not likely to be high at first. Once you begin getting comfortable with blogging and the search engines see new content it will send traffic to your site. The search engines love new content so the more you blog the more traffic your blog will receive. One thing that is essential to SEO is the keywords you pick. To increase the income from blogging and earning money online it’s important to have a steady flow of readers visiting the website, increasing the potential that the readers are going to buy products through the affiliate advertisements, click on the paid advertisements and provide higher levels of traffic to increase the rates that can be charged for advertisements placed on the blog.

The amount of money you make is up to you

Blogging for money can be a feasible way to earn a few extra hundred dollars each month but it’s important to realize that the pay off can take hours of development, and time creating new content to lure in readers. When doing this you must decide what audience you want to target and what you would like to talk about in your blog! You must have something interesting that brings others back to your site for more!
Money is essential to living in today's society.

7 minute workout plan

After joining 7 Minute Workout Plan , you will be required to fill in your profile. What I really liked about it is that just a few minutes after I uploaded a picture of me (with a cute baby lion), I received a few comments about it. From that moment I knew there was an active community on 7 Minute Workout Plan. The members area is very well structure and it’s quite easy to find your way.

  7 Minute Workout

With the screenshot above you can also see the different sections in the members area: Welcome, News, Your Exercise Videos, Your Food, Live Webcasts, Your Progress, Promotional Tools, and Member. Let’s start with the exercise videos. As you can see below, you will be provided with a workout plan based on the answers you gave to the questions in your profile.

Good to know that the plan we’re provided with is adapted to us. If I don’t like this workout plan, I can click the ‘Change Workout Plan’ and get a new one. Then by clicking on the Workout Plan links I get access to the videos showing what to do exactly. I really like the way this is organized, and for people like me who sometimes (often) lack motivation, this is a game changer. In the next section: Your Food, you get access to a Food Tracker, Recipes, and a Recipe & Menu Builder. In this section you can track your meals, and most importantly improve them. When I first read about the recipes, I was a bit skeptical because I usually don’t have much time to cook myself, but if you’re in the same situation don’t worry too much because there are plenty of 10 to 30 Minutes Recipes. Joel and business partner Chris also offer live webcasts, which is great if you want to stay up-to-date and interact with them. Past topics include: Motivation and Mentoring with Chris Reid and Joel Therien, ‘Understanding Fitness and Nutrition with Joel Therien and Chris Reid’, ‘Live Support Meetings and General Questions with Melissa Cohoe’… In the next section: Your Progress, you can check your progress over time, which will tell you if this program is working for you or not. This is actually very detailed. You can track the following: Weight, Thighs, Arms, Waist, Chest, and Pant Size. As you may know I’m taking on a challenge so I will be checking this section closely. Finally, in the Promotional Tools section you will find plenty of banners and ad copies to help you promote the program. As previously mentioned, 7 Minute Workout Plan is an MLM program so not only will you lose weight, you will also get paid. You will be earning commissions on your direct referrals, but also on their referrals. Find more information inside the members area.

7 Minute Workout Plan Review

To be honest with you… I’m not surprised but I’m quite impressed. I know Joel, and when he told me about his new program, I knew it was going to be a top-notch program. As you may know I decided to take on the challenge myself and I invite you to do so too! I already enrolled my business partner Frank and I’m sure many more will follow! As for the cost, I think it’s VERY affordable compared to what professionals would normally charge you. You would actually need to hire a personal trainer and a dietitian if you wanted to do everything that’s provided in 7 Minute Workout all by yourself. From experience, I can say that personal trainers and dietitians are quite expensive, but with 7 Minute Workout you don’t need to hire anyone!

4 words for 7 Minute Workout Plan:

Great Value For Money 7 Minute Workout Planis all about results. This is not just another workout plan but a program that was designed and built to bring a real change in people’s life. They created tutorial videos for pretty much every section of the site, which is great if you’re not familiar with this kind of program. You will quickly find your way, and there is also an online community: galleries, blogs, polls, forums, groups…

7 Minute Workout Plan Bonus As a bonus for joining 7 Minute Workout plan under me, I want to share my personal results with you. I really want to make progress, and I also want you to, so I’m going to share my progress with you, so you can see how well I do and maybe this will motivate you. You will be receiving an email after joining with the login details to access that privte section on my blog, so we can share our personal experiences. Thanks for reading this 7 Minute Workout Plan review!

Lakers Star Basketball Player

Basketball player Kobe Bryant

basketball

(CNN) -- Los Angeles Lakers star basketball player Kobe Bryant

will be out for six to nine months after rupturing his Achilles tendon, a Lakers Twitter message said Saturday, citing team trainer Gary Vitti. The injury occurred Friday against the Golden State Warriors. The news came after Bryan had an MRI. Asked if the timetable means Basketball player Kobe Bryant will be back next season, Vitti said on Twitter "that's the plan." A ruptured Achilles could take up to a year to heal, according to Will Carroll, sports injuries lead writer for Bleacher Report. Bryant has previously said that next season could be his last in the NBA. This is the 16th season in the league for the 34-year-old.

Basketball player Kobe Bryant

, who averages 27.3 points per game, reacted with disappointment on social media after the injury. On his Facebook page he posted a lengthy update: "This is such BS! All the training and sacrifice just flew out the window with one step that I've done millions of times! The frustration is unbearable. The anger is rage. Why the hell did this happen ?!? Makes no damn sense. Now I'm supposed to come back from this and be the same player Or better at 35?!? How in the world am I supposed to do that?? "I have NO CLUE. Do I have the consistent will to overcome this thing? Maybe I should break out the rocking chair and reminisce on the career that was. Maybe this is how my book ends. Maybe Father Time has defeated me." Later, Basketball player Kobe Bryant called the injury the first step in a new challenge. "One day, the beginning of a new career journey will commence. Today is NOT that day," he wrote. The post received more than 136,000 likes. According to an earlier tweet from the Lakers, Basketball player Kobe Bryant could tell what the injury was before seeing a doctor. "I was just hoping it wasn't what I thought it was," Basketball player Kobe Bryant said, according to the tweet. The Lakers have two games left in the regular season, both at home. They face the San Antonio Spurs on Sunday and the Houston Rockets on Wednesday. After beating the Warriors 118-116, the team is one game ahead of the Utah Jazz for the final spot in the NBA's Western Basketball Conference playoffs.

Need a Motor Club!

Motor clubs are organizations, either for-profit or non-profit, which motorists (drivers, vehicle owners) can join to enjoy certain benefits provided by the club relating to driving a vehicle. There is typically an annual membership fee to join. A  motor club membership identification card, valid for the time period of membership paid, is typically issued to the member.

Typical motor club benefits may include the following:

Use of membership card as bail bond card for minor traffic violations. In the USA this is especially useful for members driving outside their own state, since other state law enforcement agencies commonly do not recognize posting out-of-state driver's licenses as bail bond, but often accept motor club member cards.
Emergency road service upon presentation of membership card. Often there is a nationwide network with agreements with various local towing and other emergency road service providers.
Providing members with maps or other tourist or motoring information in some cases.
In some cases, reward stickers or decals may be provided to the member to place in the window of his/her vehicle, offering a reward to someone locating or reporting a stolen vehicle.
Sometimes certain services related to vehicles such as transferring ownership may be provided to members at a reduced cost.
Some businesses such as motels may provide members of certain motor clubs with discounts upon presentation of their motor club membership cards.

Masters

AUGUSTA, Ga. — The three legends walked to the first tee through a throng of admirers. As ceremonial firsts go, you can't get much better than Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus and Gary Player starting your event.
Emerging from the Augusta National clubhouse to cheers and pats on the back and walking about 50 yards to the first tee, the Big Three got the 77th edition of the Masters underway on a misty, cloudy Thursday.
At 7:45 a.m. ET, Palmer, a four-time champion, hit a solid drive down the right side of the fairway, thrusting his fist in celebration. Player, a three-time champion, was next and he, too, found the fairway. Nicklaus, who has won a record six times at Augusta, topped off the perfect fairways-in-regulation with another solid drive.
Masters champion Sandy Lyle, John Peterson and amateur Nathan Smith officially hit the first tee shots at 8 a.m.
On the scene: A steady stream of spectators headed down to Amen Corner to get a prime seating location — an hour at least before any player gets there. Many, however, are making stops on the right side of 10 — to see where Bubba Watson was when he hit his miracle shot last year. The area is getting trampled down – don't know if that will make the shot easier if it comes up again?
The Big Oak Tree between the clubhouse and the first tee — the main hub of Augusta National — was buzzing this morning. Nicklaus was holding court with a few reporters while wife Barbara patiently — once again — waited for the scrum to end. Major champions Lanny Wadkins and Fuzzy Zoeller, the 1979 Masters champion, were chatting with friends. CBS announcer Jim Nantz was given an interview and talking with fans. Green jackets were on the veranda. Television crews were already in full gear. There are a few lulls in the action under the Oak, estimated to be 150 years old, but throughout the day, it's a busy place and basically a happening every day.

Rehtaeh Parsons, Canada teen, kills herself after rape

It’s been called Canada’s Steubenville.
Rehtaeh Parsons, just 17 years old, was taken off life support Sunday after she’d attempted suicide Thursday by hanging herself in the bathroom. Her story, though, began almost 18 months earlier when she was 15 years old and four boys allegedly raped her at a friend’s house in November 2011.
Rehtaeh Parsons died Sunday, nearly 18 months after an alleged rape by four high school boys. (Facebook)

Like the rape of the West Virginia girl by two high school football players in Steubenville, Ohio, the victimization didn’t stop with the sexual assault.
One young man had snapped a photo of the incident with his phone, and that photo was sent to every student in their school, according to Parsons’s mother Leah Parsons. This is the part I don’t understand: Instead of siding with a teenage girl who’s been violated, some of Parsons’s classmates called her “a slut.”
“Rehtaeh was suddenly shunned by almost everyone she knew,” her mother wrote on theFacebook page she set up in her daughter’s memory. “The harassment was so bad she had to move out of her own community to try to start anew in Halifax.”
Rehtaeh struggled with depression and thoughts of suicide, even checking herself into a psychiatric hospital for several weeks.
After learning of the alleged rape, the family reported it, but too much time had passed for a rape kit. Without that kind of evidence, the case turned into her word against that of the boys, and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police concluded there was insufficient evidence for prosecution after a year-long investigation.

Tuesday, Nova Scotia’s Justice Minister Ross Landry said he is now looking into ways to review the case, reversing his earlier position.
The justice system “failed” her daughter, Rehtaeh’s mother wrote on Facebook. She blamed her daughter’s death on three factors: The boys who raped her and then thought it was “fun” to share a photo “to ruin her spirit and reputation;” the “bullying and messaging and harassment that never let up;” and the failure of the justice system to prosecute the case.
Just as social media was used to harass her in life, it has now come — too late to save her — to her defense, with calls for justice.
This isn’t an isolated case. We have  Lizzy Seeberg at Notre Dame, we have the West Virginia girl raped by Steubenville football players, and we have the case of my best friend’s daughter, who was raped by three student athletes her sophomore year of high school at a party in a suburb of Kansas City, Mo.
Again, the victimization did not stop with the rape. Stories circulated about that night and she was labeled a slut. Friends dropped her. She wanted to forget it. She did not tell her parents until after a suicide attempt and a bout with anorexia.
Now, nearly five years later, she still struggles.
Her mother believes these cases “are incredibly common,” she told me. “I don’t understand this victimization of the victim and having people turn on her.” She blames a culture that nurtures student athletes, elevating them to a “god-like status” and allowing them anything they want. She also wonders if some of the girls who were so hateful to her daughter will someday look back and realize their behavior was wrong.
And she wonders if her daughter will survive.

Paint

Today I had a issue with a tenant in one of my rooming homes that makes me think maybe I should put EVERYTHING in writing.  Somethings seem self explanatory or common sense, but when dealing with people I think that assumption is to be determined.  I go to the house to put in the household necessities and the door to one of the rooms on the lower level is open so I glanced in and noticed the walls have been painted. Now I wouldn't have an issue with this if the tenant asked and if it was an appropriate color (neon yellow). I am upset and don't know how to handle this because for starters its not in writing, once you let one person get away with it then its like a chain reaction, dont want to lose a tenant / income, and when they leave I have to paint it back.

Smoking or Non-smoking?

I usually don't care about the smoking in my homes, but lately I have noticed that more of my tenants smoke.  This isn't really a problem but I have been having to paint more than usual. Ive also noticed that it has caused the mirrors in the home to stain or become cloudy due to smoke and the poor maintenance. The homes have a odor and appears to be dusty.  There are a few tenants who don't smoke and have put complaints in the complaint box, but I'm not sure of what I should do. In a since I think it would save me some money on paint and cleaning products but having non smokers may cause me to loss tenants. Indecisive on what I should do.

Dogs

I have a dog and I am quite fond of her. With that being said I usually don't have a problem with my tenants having pets.  It usually isn't a problem because I let the tenant know that if there is any damage because of the pets it will be deducted from the security deposit. Now I usually don't do inspections on tenants home because once they rent it I want them to feel comfortable and ask them to treat it has if it was their own, but I went in one of my units because I had to fix the bathroom sink and oh my God! The Dog demolished the house. Not only did they have the one dog, but four, cats, fish, birds, rabbit, and some fish. Who knows what else was living in the cracks. I am so disappointed and I almost know that the security deposit wont cover the damage to that house. Now that makes me feel like maybe I should do one or more of the following; limit the amount of pets, stop allowing pets, do inspections, and ask for higher deposit for those who have pets.

Question to renters and landlords; what do you think is more important, paying your rent or having a good holiday / Christmas with your family? Do you think it's ok to short your landlord rent and assume they understands? Should the landlord be more understanding to the needs of the tenant and show some holiday cheer? Me personal I feel business is business. No matter what this world is still turning.  Every situation has different outcomes. There are people who just try to get by and those who just try to get over. So it's all based on communication and the relationship between tenant and landlord.  Then the decision / answer can be made accordingly.

Children in a rooming house.

I have multiple homes for rent and sale.  One of the homes is a rooming house.  Lately I have been getting a lot of calls from individuals requesting a room for them and their children.  I havent been accepting children just adults over 18, and the rooms can't occupy more than two (but I charge extra for couples).  I'm starting to see that I am losing revenue this way.  I don't accet children for several resons. One being space and another being conflicts with other tenants in home. Do you think I should change my policy a little? Why or why not?
